Reverting to the report of the Inspector of
Schools the progress made in the teaching of hygiene referr-
ed to in its 45th. paragraph was fully dealt with in my
despatch No.41 dated the 17th. February, 1906, and the ques-
tion of Higher and Technical Education (paragraph 46) in my
despatch No.129 dated the 25th. May, 1906, to which I await
Your Lordship's reply.
9.
The course of Visual Instruction in the
greatness of the British Empire which has formed the subject
of correspondence with Your Lordship's department and was
last dealt with in Mr. Lyttelton's despatch No.215 dated
the 10th. November, 1905, has been initiated in various
schools this year and a report on it will be embodied in
that of the Inspector of Schools for 1906.
